Chinese Hand Painted Leather Box Mah Jong Set

This is a Mah Jong set was handmade in China. The Mah Jong tiles in this set are made from plastic. Each tile has an english numeral as well as the Chinese character for that number so that English speakers can play as well. This box is made from elm wood. It is covered in leather, and the paintings on the outside of the box are hand painted. The design of the box is very unique. There are fiver drawers with copper handles in the box. The set has 144 regular tiles and 8 joker tiles. It also comes with dice and game sticks. The size of the box is 9 x 7 x 5.5 inches. The size of the Mah Jong tiles is 1 x .5 inches.
